See the SightsAlbertinia is close to many well known resorts. There are several day trips to choose from. Restaurants, bank facilities, filling stations and supermarkets are all here, on your doorstep.

Nature LoversAre less than 30 minutes drive away from the unspoiled beaches of Gouritzmond, Hartenbos, Mossel Bay, Vlees Bay. And you may be lucky to see Whales and Dolphins play in Boggoms Bay. It is only a short trip to Riversdale and across the beautiful Garcia pass crossing the Langeberg. From there, Heidelberg and the breathtaking Tradouw pass lie ahead en–route to Montagu, Barrydale, Ladismith or Calitzdorp. Oudshoorn, where you can visit the world famous Cango Caves, ostrich and crocodile farms; is only a 90 minute drive away. A different 90 minute trip takes you to the mysterious Knysna forest, with its exquisite vegetation. Walking trails in the area are many and varied – from the beach, to the mountains, to the forests. a few kilometers from Albertinia lies one of many game parks in the area. It offers unique three – wheeler game drives. Horse riding, boat trips and fishing can be enjoyed close to Guestrest. You can feast your eyes on the scenery from the comfort of the well known Outeniqua "choo–choo" train.

For AdventurersThere is bungy jumping from the Gouritz River bridge. Not to mention 4x4 routes, absailing, helicopter trips and boating which can all be organized in the area.

For Culture loversSwellendam; A historical heritage site is one hour away. Mossel bay with its historical "Post Office Tree" and beautiful stone buildings, is only 50km away. The popular "Still Bay" is 90 minutes down the road. George, Herolds Bay and Victoria Bay can all be reached within 60 minutes. Cape Town with its many attractions is four hours away along the N2. Special Tips to Tourists:Fly in to George Airport on scheduled jet or propjet flights from any of the main cities of South Africa. Cars are available at the George Airport from large Car Hire firms. Guestrest is only – 60 minutes away; take the "N2 Highway" to Cape Town.
